Strength Training to Protect the Lower Back

A 5-week, specialized program consisting of ten, 45-minute workouts designed to

  • Increase core tensile strength while avoiding commonly misused abdominal exercises
  • Teach individual awareness of flexion or extension intolerances
  • Teach how to use the core musculature to protect the lower back
  • Increase core stability
  • Teach which exercises to potentially avoid
  • Increase overall, full-body strength

Participants will leave their final class with a printed version of the 5-week program, nutrition tips to help reduce inflammation and recommendations for suitable exercise programs for the future.
